VBA EXPERT -macro excel-

Expert VBA was created in 2017 by Myriam Savard, who was graduated from École Polytechnique de Montréal in 1992.

​

From 1993 to 2016 Ms. Savard teamed up with Clemex Technologies, which was also just starting out. She became an engineer expert in automated quality control solutions by image analysis, mainly by microscopy. Her expertise evolved along with the growth of this innovative company. She shared her knowledge with this young company, as she was herself learning to integrate all this into the world of quality control by image analysis. The tools and functions of Clemex Vision analysis systems evolved along with her constant contribution of advices for improvements, tool additions, and quality control management. Ms. Savard has therefore designed and developed many quality control applications fully automated and integrated with Excel / VBA in order to obtain the most used international standardized reports (ISO ASTM DIN USP ASME IEST), as well as to follow the particular requests of each company.

 

Ms. Savard had the opportunity to share some of her expertise by giving trainings, writing articles, and giving presentations. She had the opportunity to collaborate with the ASTM to carry out inter-laboratory studies as well as with ISO by sharing her expertise in order to standardize the measurements of particle shape factors, by image analysis. She has actively participated in the most relevant ASTM committees in her field, in order to aim towards standardizations achievable on a large scale, by the majority of the image analysis systems.

It was after requests from her entourage to integrate and monitor data from Excel that the idea of ​​Expert VBA germinated. Given her expertise in quality control, this is privileged niche for Expert VBA, but the door is opened, with great interest, to projects of all kinds that can be brought by small businesses.
